The mainline of the Pocahontas Division of the NS begins at Bluefield, WV and continues through the valleys of West Virginia north and west to Williamson, WV. Some of districts, that compose the Pocahontas Division are: Pocahontas, Tug River, and Thacker I.
The Pocahontas District extends from Bluefield, WV to Welch, WV.
The Tug River District extends from Welch, WV to Iaeger, WV.
The Thacker I District extends from Iaeger, WV to Williamson, WV. The map below shows the route of the Thacker I Sub.
